I started this business because I believe that nutrition and wellness are essential to overall health.
With healthcare costs continuing to rise, I wanted to create a solution that makes healthcare more affordable for everyone.
Too often, the healthcare system prioritizes profits over people, so I aimed to build a business that is centered around personalized care, where individuals are treated as unique, not as a business transaction.
What sets Hicksville Direct Primary Care apart from others in this industry?
Our business stands out because we focus on personalized healthcare. Unlike traditional practices, our appointments last between 45 minutes to an hour, ensuring we give each patient the time and attention they deserve. Additionally, our payment structure is unique—patients can access care without insurance, as we offer a simple monthly payment plan.
Who is Hicksville Direct Primary Care’s ideal customer?
We provide healthcare services for all stages of life, from birth to end of life. We don’t exclude anyone and believe everyone deserves quality care.
What’s something people might not know about Hicksville Direct Primary Care?
Many people aren’t familiar with what a Direct Primary Care (DPC) model is, and understandably, some may feel nervous about whether they’ll receive quality care. Unlike traditional practices, we operate on a monthly payment system instead of relying on insurance. We also limit the number of patients we see, ensuring that each person receives the personalized attention they deserve.

What do you love most about being part of this community?
Although we haven’t been in the community for long, we truly value the opportunity to focus on meeting its unique needs.
How does your business give back or get involved locally?
Since we’re still new to the community, it’s been a bit challenging to find ways to give back. However, we’ve sponsored local teams and events, such as the recent Chamber of Commerce golf outing. Additionally, we’re proud to provide healthcare services to the entire Hicksville community. Whenever we need to refer a patient to a specialist, we make it a priority to keep those referrals local, supporting other businesses and ensuring convenience for our patients.
Personal Point of View
What’s your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of the job is treating patients and building personal connections with them. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of their health journey and to make a real difference in their lives.
Can you share a memorable moment or success story?
Our biggest success story has been adapting the model we created in Fort Wayne and bringing it to a smaller community like Hicksville. Beyond that, every healthy patient we help is a success in itself.
Who has been your biggest influence or mentor in your business journey?
Our biggest support throughout this journey has been the Direct Primary Care (DPC) community as a whole. We truly help and uplift each other, building on our collective experiences and knowledge.
Future Focus
What’s next for Direct Primary Care? Any exciting plans or new offerings?
We’re eager to expand our space to better meet the healthcare needs of Hicksville, potentially adding resources like a personal gym. We also hope to fill the empty rooms in our building with other healthcare providers, bringing specialists to the community and offering even more comprehensive care.
Where do you see Direct Primary Care in the next 5 years?
We envision our business continuing to grow so we can better meet the evolving healthcare needs of Hicksville.
How can customers best support you right now?
Hicksville can support us by spreading the word about our services and referring us to people in the community. We also hope to help shift opinions about the DPC healthcare model and show how it can truly benefit everyone.

What’s your go-to coffee order or favorite lunch spot?
I don’t have a favorite lunch spot, but when I do eat out, I like to keep it local and mix things up by trying different places each time.
What advice would you give to someone starting out in your field?
Lean on those who’ve been through this before—they’re always willing to lend a helping hand. The DPC community is incredibly supportive and strong.
What is your favorite inspirational quote?
Our mantra is “Healthcare begins with wellness, and it expands from there.”
